F. Rogers – President -
F. Rogers dedicated 20 solid years to the United States Navy as an aircraft mechanic and recruiter. F. Rogers studied Audio at Expressions College in Emeryville, CA,, and Human Resource Management at Cal State East Bay in Hayward, CA. F. Rogers has devoted countless hours mentoring the youth and volunteering for different non-profit organizations around the United States. F. Rogers is greatly appreciative of the opportunity to extend his community relations experiences to the C.A.R.E.S community in the United States, as well as the C.A.R.E.S community in Clay Ashland, Liberia.

Colletta A. Richards-Claggett, MD - Treasurer
Dr. Richards-Claggett was born in Clay Ashland, Liberia. Her primary school education was mainly from St Theresa’s Convent School in Monrovia, Liberia; she graduated high school from Bishop Manogue HS in Sacramento, CA. Her secondary education was accomplished with an undergraduate college degree from California State Univ, Sacramento, and graduate medical degree from Medical College of GA, Augusta, GA. She completed anesthesia residency at University of Illinois, Chicago, IL. Her professional career has mostly been at National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. She is a proud wife, mother, and physician anesthesiologist who advocates for reaching out to those in need. Along with her children, she has volunteered at humanitarian outreach organizations including Habitat for Humanity and So Others Might Eat (SOME).

Ciatta Claggett – Secretary -
Ciatta Claggett is a Washington, DC Metro Area native that studied Business Administration and Sustainability in the Built Environment at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Ciatta is invested in C.A.R.E.S. because of her strong belief in the need of humanitarian equity worldwide. C.A.R.E.S. is also particularly important to her because the school and subsequent educational fund are named after her grandparents. As an officer of the C.A.R.E.S., Ciatta brings over ten years of professional experience as a certified Project Manager to the operation of the organization. She offers a practical, thoughtful perspective and suggestions for the success of the organization. She is especially motivated by work that promotes equity, sustainability, and meaningful community impact.

Mojgan Khajavi-Nouri – President of the Board -
Mojgan Khajavi-Nouri resides in Baltimore, Maryland, and works at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where she has served as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for over 15 years. She has a long-standing commitment to service, with a particular passion for supporting children and vulnerable populations. She has volunteered with numerous organizations, including Special Olympics, and Feeding the Unhoused. At Gilchrist Hospice, she has provided companionship and support to patients at the end of life. She finds deep fulfillment in serving others and giving back to the community.

Asha Chari – Vice President of the Board -
Dr. Asha Chari was born in India and completed her high school education and medical schooling in India. Dr. Chari Started at University Hospital and The Audrey Murphy VA Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Chari completed her residency training in Internal medicine at University Of Texas Medical Branch and in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She subsequently has been an attending anesthesiologist at John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Chari and her kids have volunteered at various community organizations including the Howard County Food bank, the Love and Lunches food delivery service and S.A.F.E (Supplying Allergy Friendly and Emergency) food pantry. She has also been part of the MERIT scholarship Mentor program for high school students at Johns Hopkins. She and her daughter are currently probationary members of the Ellicott City Volunteer Fire department and volunteer as EMT back up for the county. Dr. Chari is passionate about provision of healthcare, education and food assistance to underserved and marginalized communities.
